As you learn to let things go, you will find how beautiful life is lived in harmony with God. Questions such, "How to find God?" will begin to feel strange to you. Instead of constantly seeking God, you will experience God and delight in walking in the joy of His unfathomable Presence. This result in a genuine shift in how you think, acts, and treats others and the world.

Change your perspective on yourself and on God.

You do not live apart from God. You did not acquire some defective gene that, while dormant during your childhood, reawakened at some mythical "age of accountability." Which, by the way, is not found in the Bible? God cannot be found in a religious book, nor can he be found in a church. Both of these locations have the potential to be portals into God's presence. But that's all they are and don't overlook that God doesn't need either, for God has countless gateways. If you want an inner sense of God's closeness – and what spiritual person doesn't? – Why search outside yourself for who is already in you – who IS you?

Practice believing that God is within you

If you make it a habit to pay attention to every idea of God you have, you will soon come to believe that each thought of God is God. This is how faith works. So include these tips into your spiritual practice. This is how faith develops and believing, or trusting functions. "To believe" is a more accurate translation of the Biblical term "believe." "Believe" is frequently confused with "beliefs."

 

So, when you practice your new way of thinking – for example, "God cannot be found since God is already in me" – it will soon become your way of life.

Keep in mind that God is in others, too

Even everything. If you make this your new way of understanding, you will begin to believe and act as if the God who is in you is also the God who is in others. Labels must be abandoned, my friend. The mystery is unfathomable. Can you imagine how different your life, relationships, and the world would be if you could see God not just in yourself, but in everyone and everything else?

 

Consider this for a moment. You might simply determine that this is a "salvation" in which you can put your faith.
